English Who sees you on Gééčko (and who does not)
Straight up. On most dating sites everyone sees you and you see everyone. It sounds fair, but in practice it means anybody can write to you — including people you would never have started with.
Here you run it. You set two things — age and distance — and they decide who meets you at all. Here is how that works, so you know where you stand.

Say you are 23
You set your range to guys between 20 and 30. From then on, two things hold.
- In search you only see guys between 20 and 30. Nobody older is put in front of you.
- And this is the part that matters — they do not see you either. Anybody outside your range never reaches your profile. It is not that he writes and you turn him down. He simply does not get to you.
It works the other way too. Somebody who is 45 and looking for his own age sees his own age — and not you. Nobody tells you whom to want. Everyone sets their own, and everyone gets some peace.
With age we take your numbers literally. What you set is what holds.
With kilometres we are more generous
We have to be straight with you here, because you would notice it yourself sooner or later.
You set a radius — fifty kilometres, say. We do not take it literally; we allow some slack. We are a small site, and when we counted kilometres exactly, a quarter of members could see nobody at all. So we never work with less than 50 km.
What does hold firmly: we use the tighter of your two radii. If one of you is looking close by, it does not reach further — in either direction.
And if it happens to be empty around you, we will say so and offer to widen it. But you press the button, not us.
What you get out of it
Peace, mostly. You do not get messages you never wanted, because people outside your settings do not know you exist. Nothing to delete, nobody to fend off — it never reaches you.
You know it from other apps: you make a profile and a pile of offers nobody asked for lands on you. There is nowhere for that to come from here. And if somebody does step where he should not, one tap blocks him and he is gone. You can report him too.
If you change your mind
None of it is permanent. Want a wider radius, a different age, something else entirely? You change it in a minute in your profile. Whenever you like. You run it.
And the rest of your peace
Control over who sees you is only part of it. You do not have to fight for privacy here — you have it from the start.
- You do not need a photo. And the private one you show only to whoever you choose.
- Google will not find you.
- An email, a password and your town are enough. No phone, no ID.
- You are here under a nickname, not your name.
What people ask most
Not on age. It holds both ways — anybody outside your range will not find your profile, even looking for exactly you. On distance we use the tighter of your two radii.
