There is no call centre behind Gééčko. It is a small Czech project that one person started and runs in their spare time — so write the way you would to a person, not a form. A person reads it.

We usually reply within four days. If something is urgent — harassment, someone threatening to out you, a suspected minor — say so in the subject line and we will deal with it first.

You can write in English, Czech or Ukrainian.

What goes where

Something does not work. Tell us what you did and what happened. A screenshot gets it half solved.

Someone is behaving badly. The report button on their profile is quicker than e-mail — it reaches us with the context attached. Use e-mail when it is something serious or when it is not about one particular profile.

You want your data, or want it deleted. You can delete your account and download your data in the settings. If that does not work for some reason, write and we will do it for you.

An idea for something better. Really, write. Gééčko is built by one person, and what people write genuinely makes its way in.

When you need something Gééčko cannot give

We are not a counselling service and will not pretend to be. These are sites run by people who do this professionally and keep their information up to date (they are in Czech):

• S barvou ven — the online counselling service of Prague Pride. Coming out, relationships, family, life in the community.
• LGBT+ linka — phone and online support in hard moments, anonymously.
• LGBT zdraví — information on mental and physical health and a directory of professionals experienced with LGBT+ issues.
